Nintendo has come such a long way since the dawn of 8-bit video gaming! When I first purchased the Nintendo Wii, I was not quite sure what to think about the new motion-gaming system. The idea of swinging controllers around was kind of confusing, as I had always been used to mashing buttons on a traditional controller. I eventually fell in love with the Wii, just as I had fallen for the original NES.

Now that I have a son of my own and he is old enough to play video games and understand the controls, I decided to go purchase a second Nintendo Wii and went on the search to find the best Wii games for kids aged 5-10. I favor games of a more mature rating and was not positive which Nintendo Wii games were targeted at a younger age group.

I was not quite sure where to look so asked a buddy of mine which Wii games were the best. He kindly directed me to a website that had everything I was looking for. Now the two of can play together over a wi-fi connection and enjoy some really cool versions of some of the classics that I played as a boy, and my son has never been more appreciative!
